Bell Museum's STEM Nights Demo

March 20, 2024 11:00am

What’s a STEM Night?

Join Dwanya Paplow from the PCLS for a demonstration of the Bell Museum's STEM Kits.  You will be able to experience the kits, see what materials are included and learn more about how they can be used in your library.  The kits have been brought to the region by the Plum Creek Library System.  If your library is not in the PCLS region, discuss the possibility of bringing these fantastic kits and a STEM night to your school or regional library system.

STEM Nights are events hosted at your school or library where students and families can learn about natural history, science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging, hands-on activities. The Bell Museum will provide all the necessary materials to facilitate activities that range from the science of taxonomy to learning about gravity in space. Plus, all activities are designed with non-science educators in mind, so anyone can feel confident leading them.

Hosting a STEM Night?
What’s next?

By receiving a Bell Museum STEM Nights kit, you are joining the Bell Museum in celebrating and showcasing science across the state. We are thrilled to support educators in their commitment to excellence in science engagement. The goal of the program is to generate enthusiasm among students and families for science, technology, engineering, and math by giving them a chance to explore STEM together at a special school community event.
